Stand Up Paddling
This kind of sports is extremely popular and ubiquitous in Parga. There many beautiful paddling routes, for example from Valtos/Chrisogiali to the small island “Nisaki”. Beginners can also attend private lessons organized by the Greek Stand Up Paddling legend, Kostis Geralexis.
Every year on October Parga becomes host of the All Saints Parga SUP Race, a whole weekend when the best paddlers are competing in different categories. Hobby Stand Up Paddlers and children can also participate.
Beachvolleyball
There is a beachvolleyball field at the Chrisogiali beach between the beach bars “Cape North West” and “Azul” where the locals play every day. The mood is very relaxed and everyone can participate no matter your age or level. This field is probably the easiest opportunity to get in touch with local people.
Windsurfing
Exactly after 2 pm, Meltemi appears and grants good windsurfing conditions in Valtos Bay and Chrisogiali beach. You can rent the surfing equipment by Akis Geralexis. By request you can also book lessons by him.
Watersports
At the Valtos/Chrisogiali beach there are two watersports providers. They can offer you all the watersports equipment that you dream of: from waterski and parasailing to jet ski renting.
Hiking
All around Parga there are numerous and wonderful hiking roads . The selection is diverse and we will take pride to give you tips for the locations. But we advise you not to go hiking from June to August, because it is simply too hot for that. The other months are better suited.
Fishing
Why not to catch your own dinner? In Parga you can go fishing pretty well, either from the mainland or from a small boat in the water. There are many hidden fish spots, which we will show you with pleasure.
Rent your own boat
At Akis Geralexis, you can rent small motorized boats. For this boat category, you don’t need a licence. These boats are perfectly suitable for reaching lonely and hidden beaches all around Parga. Once there, you can enjoy paradisic silence, because these beaches can only be reached by boat.
Boat tours
In the season, the ships “Marco Polo” and “Captain Hook 2” go every day to the islands Paxos and Antipaxos. The boats start from the port of Parga about 10.00 and come back about 17.30. During this time you have the opportunity to swim in the turquoise blue water of Paxos and Antipaxos. Besides that you visit the blue caves of Paxos. This tour is really something special!

Do you like it more individual? Then a tour by boat with Kostas is perfect for you. Plan your personal tour with the captain, customized to your budget and to your fancy. For example you can visit the nearby Parga islands, where lonely spots are waiting just for you. Or you book a longer tour, for example to Paxos, Antipaxos or Lefkada. Kostas is not only a unique captain and host, he knows the sea around Parga since his childhood and with him it is never boring!

Meet Angelos, our very own Parga tennis teacher! As there is only one court and Angelos is an exceptional teacher, the tennis courses might be booked fast. But if you book on time, you can always get an appointment. If you like, we can arrange lessons for you in advance.
